Really need to keep this updated...
I post on Facebook about little things, but I really do need to keep this updated. Sorry!!!
Let's see... the little man... Wow, it's like I can't keep up with him growing up. He moves too fast for me!
Talking: He is talking a little bit. He doesn't talk "a lot" but he does talk.
Dada (and he knows who Daddy is)
Mama (and we know who Mama is too!)
Nana (my mom)
PopPop (my stepfather)
Poppy (my dad)
Nigh Nigh (When we say this, we grab our Taggie and Wubba Nub and head for the stairs to go to bed)
Buh Buh (bye bye)
Muh (More, and he knows the sign for more too)
Yep ('nuff said!)
Walking:
He is walking like a champ and started getting up by himself, without pulling himself up on something, about 2 months ago. It's scary!! He is walking a lot more steadily and practically runs now. It's pretty funny.
Daycare:
I got him into a new daycare around Christmas time. He LOVES it! When we pull into the parking lot he starts saying "Da Da Da Da Da!" I have NO idea what he is trying to say, but what's funny is that everyone in daycare "calls" him Dada because that is what he says all the time :) Here are his first "school pictures"
Terrible Two's...really???
We taught Patrick some sign language (More, Please, Up) and he was doing SO good for a while. I am not sure what happened... however, all of a sudden he "stopped" saying Please. Then, within the last week, he started again. However... the last few days when you say to him "What do we say?" or "Say Please". He throws a FIT! Head thrown back, screaming, stomping feet... you name it. I have NO idea where the hell this came from, but sure enough... there it is!
Health
Patrick has had a cold since he was 8 weeks old... no joke. I think it may be allergies, but every 4-6 weeks he gets a cold. Well, last week the cold turned into a raging fever (104!) and subsequently turned into pneumonia :( He was in and out of the hospital... not fun! But we seem to have turned a corner and have not had a fever since last Friday. YAAYY!
NON Patrick news...
We are moving! YAAAAAAAAAAYY! We found a house in Branford and fell in love! It's amazing... 3 bedrooms, HUGE Kitchen, HUGE basement/living area, FULL SIZE WASHER AND DRYER!!!... it's awesome! Now...if we can just get INTO it, then life would be good :)

Break from Facebook...
I had to give up SOMETHING for lent :)
i need to update this more anyways... so maybe it's a good thing! Of course, I still have to watch what I say because "big brother" tends to keep too close an eye on me these days. oy...
Anyways...today is February 18th 2010... my munchkin is 14 months old today. WOW! I cannot even believe it!! He is starting to get more comfortable walking and is the light of my life. I cannot even put how much I love this little man into words.
Hope to still be able to keep in touch with my friends over on Facebook through this. I know Hayley won't know what to do without me :)

Patrick-7 & 8 months
My little man... you keep getting bigger and bigger every day!
Sitting still is not your favorite thing :)
Even though you will sit up all by yourself. You love moving around. Crawing is new as well...
...and so is playing Peek-A-Boo :)
Gram and I took you to Sears to get your 8 month pictures done. You had so much fun!
Daddy & I took you to New Hampshire to see Auntie Kathie and Uncle Tony for Labor Day, your second road trip. You tried a lot of new things :) Fried dough pizza, cotton candy, green beans... and you pretty much loved all of them!
and on the way home, we stopped to see your Aunts Jenny & Betsy... they missed you!
You are, and always will be, my most favorite thing ever. You are the best thing I have ever made and I look forward to seeing your smile every day.

6 months???
Now, I know this is REALLY late but I know you will understand why. Mommy has been working extraordinarily hard the past month with Kevin trying to get Dixie in order.
We tried to do a photo shoot with your bears.... Here are just a few of those shots :)
You are almost as big as Bobby!!
Some of your faces make Mommy and Daddy laugh out loud!
Your favorite toy is still your jumper. You jump so hard in it sometimes I am afraid you are going to break it :) But you just keep on jumping and smiling.
We took you to a parade on the 4th of July and then to your first Muster last weekend with Grampy and Gramma Jeanne. While you definitely had a good time...
you were tired too...
If any of your immediate family were worried that you might not recognize them after you haven't seen them in a while, they can rest assured that you know EXACTLY who they are :)
...oh, and you like dogs!!!
You are getting so big, my sweet boy. It amazes me every day. I love watching you learn about new things around you and, while sometimes it drives me crazy, I laugh when I see how EVERYTHING goes into the mouth :)
You are rolling over from stomach to back and from back to stomach (your favorite!) and are even going to sleep on your back now! You roll over onto your tummy, but you are happy when we put you on your back, which is a big accomplishment.
You LOVE solid foods - rice, bananas, peaches, sweet potatoes, squash and especially applesauce. You can't get enough of them!
You are going to be 7 months old in 4 days... this astounds me!!! a year ago, you were only this small:
You are a constant smile on my face, the light in my eyes and the love of my life. j'adore my little one!
